Adoption is one of the most rewarding areas of practice for Kay Church.

Clients often feel the final sense of “family” as well as the legal protections of the law for the step-children or adopted children.

A step-parent adoption involves a termination of parental rights and can include changing a child’s last name on his or her birth certificate.  It  and will forever terminate  the legal ties between a child and their uninvolved parent. A more traditional adoption can be a lengthy and emotionally charged process. Kay will zealously advocate for each child and strive to complete the process as quickly as possible.
